We are honored to offer this rare and exceptional example of one of Ayurveda’s most revered natural substances. After more than two years of waiting, this batch of Pure Ladakhi Shilajit has finally returned — sourced, processed, and purified according to classical Ayurvedic methods by a family of alchemists in Ladakh who have preserved this craft for over twelve generations.

Harvested at elevations above 3,000 meters, this shilajit originates from remote Himalayan cliffs where mineral-rich resins naturally form over long periods of time. In Ayurveda, shilajit is traditionally known as “the conqueror of mountains and destroyer of weakness.” The material is then refined through an elaborate, multi-stage purification process that yields a clean, concentrated resin of exceptional purity.

This batch is among the finest we have ever encountered — rich, potent, and energetically robust, with a character that reflects both the altitude and lineage behind it.

What Makes This Shilajit Unique

  • Sourced in Ladakh, one of the most celebrated shilajit regions
  • Gathered at very high altitude by practitioners trained in traditional extraction
  • Purified using classical Ayurvedic processes
  • Extremely clean, resinous, and dry in texture — often requiring a small knife to portion
  • Deeply grounding and subtly expansive in its energetic profile
  • Contains a naturally occurring array of trace minerals, humic compounds, and fulvic components

Crafted in small batches using heritage methods passed down for centuries

Our experience sampling shilajit from India, Tibet, Pakistan, and Bhutan continually brings us back to this lineage. Its depth, subtlety, and potency set it apart.

How to Use

Use an amount roughly the size of a lentil or black peppercorn.

Traditionally taken:

  • First thing in the morning
  • With warm water or warm milk
  • Ideally waiting 20 minutes before eating

Because shilajit is regarded in Ayurveda as ushan virya (warming in nature), begin with a small amount and adjust gradually based on your own experience.

Texture & Handling

This Ladakhi shilajit is naturally dry and resinous. It often arrives in firm pieces that can be gently broken with a knife. Some people enjoy letting a small piece dissolve slowly in the mouth to appreciate its earthy depth.
